Michael Schmidt was indifferent towards any particular faith tradition, but was met at the door of a Catholic church by a priest with a big hug. This hug came at the perfect time as the Holy Spirit was preparing to work in Michael in unexpected ways and provide answers to the faith crisis that was stirring within. “As a non-catholic I was confused and lost in what salvation really meant (How could I still be a child of God if I constantly reject His love and mercy?), but I found truth, forgiveness and freedom from harmful temptations in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
